There are many ways to reduce your energy footprint.

1. Turn it off.
Turn off appliances that are not being used. Then unplug them (they use power even when off). This includes computers, TVs and chargers.

2. Enjoy the season.
Let the temperature of your home rise in the summer and drop in the winter and dress accordingly. Use a programmable thermostat so you don’t have to fiddle with it all the time.

3. Get out the clothespins.
Clothes dryers use a lot of electrical energy. Hang your clothes to dry whenever possible.
